Inaugural Family Poem

Dreams on a Starry Night

Golden flowers in the night,
Up above us, oh so bright.
Silver eyeball looking down,
Upon the silence all around.

Sleeping children in their beds,
All wrapped up in silky threads
Dreaming dreams of fairy life
Without a care or any strife.

Soon they'll waken to the day
Games of magic they will play.
In a world by dreams inspired
They'll spend the day until they tire.

And darkness follows once again
And soothes the children with its reign.
